So it never really ocurred to me that this was a form of e-commerce until I started this class. Now you can order PIZZA ONLINE!!! A-click-and-mortar if you will... Places like Dominos and Pizza Hut, who still have physical locations, have virtually added an online store for PIZZA!!!

Even Monopoly Ain't the Same!!

I was sitting on my couch this morning, just taking a break and watching TV when I came across a monoploy commercial, and it is new and improved. Now you no longer need a banker. Simply swipe your card and let the electronic banking system deals with the rest!!!!! Children can now get a head start on how to use credit cards and get the feel of EC early on in their childhoods. Initially I thought that was kind of cool, but then I remembered that monopoly was a game that taught you how to use your math skills as well as deal with money. Future generations will not develop thes skills in the same ways. But, you can't say it's not cool. ELECTRONIC BANKING FOR KIDS!

My name is Twyla Everett and I am a certified computer dummy!! But you wouldn't think so if you looked at my family and surroundings though. I have 4 computers in my home, one of which my mother, an A+ Certified Computer technician, built herself. My brother is a major gamer and computer addict as well, who has also decided to go to school to deal with computers... But me... I like to dance! Dancing doesn't really involve much computer work.

I'm just pulling your chain a little.. :) I'm a pretty smart girl., and I can figure out computers and internet fairly well, but I'm not in love with it (it hurts my head if I'm on the computer for longer than an hour). But I am very interested in the world of e-commerce. As scary as it may seem, computer technology and robots are the future of our world! Already we can be checked out of a grocery store by machines, and can insert micro computer chips into animals so that they don't get lost, and we can go to the mall and buy anything we desire with our PJ's and slippers!!! And cash??? Before you know it, it will be a thing of the past. All plastic nowadays..

Within this Blog, I will attempt to focus on the Electronic Commerce aspect of our evolving world, and the new innovations being implemented before our eyes.
